Dear Tanya,
I read your interesting article saying that we can have our
say in what happens to the disused quarry.
I understand why the bikers
were kicked off the ground after it was deemed unsafe but surely this tells us
all that bikes are not the appropriate vehicle for the job. I suggest we turn it
into a tank track. Tanks are known for being quite safe and are even bullet
proof which is an extra plus in this day and age.
We could teach our
youngsters how to navigate a tank and have a section for target practice for
blowing things up like the now unneeded bikes, the burger van or maybe in spring
some small lambs. This would prepare them for war by the time they leave school
in the same way the scouts work. I propose having bill boards up at intervals
around the course with various learning aids on them such as mathematical
problems which if the driver gets it right he can also be given a grenade to
throw at passing dog walkers.
I would love to be at the meeting tomorrow
at the Cullingworth church between 2 and 4pm but that is the time I will be in
the public house. Well, not just them times, I'll probably get there for about
10am and leave sometime in the evening.
I do hope you could voice my
opinion for me and put the feelers out. If I could get your backing on this one
we could go into business selling karki camoflage clothing and war memorabilia.
Would you be interested?
Have you any other ideas because I have loads
if you would like to sit down and discuss them. This time next year we could be
millionaires.
I look forward to hearing back from you hopefully with the
news that the Tank Track has been approved.
Speak you you
soon.
